A delight in Hong Kong cuisine. Id reccomend the salt and pepper ribs and the Peking duck. All food was fresh and tasty. Have been to most Chinese restaurants in the area and this one's miles ahead. Come with a group and book ahead to reserve your lazy Susan. Great food. I'll be back soon

Best Cantonese/ Chinese in South Wales! Food is always delicious and the service is second to none. The chilli salt king prawns are to die for and we always order a portion each. Have been coming here (and their old premises) for over 25 years. 10/10
We went for a meal for two, we were disappointed that they didn’t do dim sum anymore but we ordered Cantonese roast chicken, Monk fish in ginger and garlic, Choi Sum in garlic and oyster sauce, crispy scallops, and Yangzhou rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. We will be coming back to try the other dishes.
The Riverside Cantonese has to be the best Chinese Restaurant in Cardiff. The food is consistently good. The menu offers something for everyone and there's a good selection of lagers and wine. The staff are very efficient and also friendly. The Owner is also very pleasant.
Hadn't been for a few years as I'm no longer local. Still excellent. My colleague had the vegetarian option and was very impressed. 4 stars for atmosphere because it was a quiet midweek evening. Quiet but not totally dead. Will visit again soon.
Always good.. one of the best Chinese restaurants in Cardiff.. The crispy fried soft shell crab and the monk fish were perfectly done..
Quiet place to eat which was so lovely, we could talk, eat & enjoy our evening without over hearing other conversations. Food was delicious, Service fantastic, Really lovely choice of dishes. Highly recommend. Large restaurant so lots of space .
